Hung out with the 27th on sunday once again. Haha we're really getting stickier after chubx left. Surprise surprise, Sylvia was the planner! And Claris showed up! The girl has MIA-ed for the past 6months cos' of her job; so poor thing. And she had to deliberately take leave to meet us! But it was totally worth it yea?
Didn't do anything exciting, just basically hung out and chatted the afternoon and night away. Guess when you put 7 boardees together you'll never get bored=) We had a HTHT: Heart-to-Heart Talk and shared our fears over entering uni soon. Usually we talk about random stuff and crack lots of jokes, but i suppose emotions really flow over Selegie Tau Huey and fried you tiaos=p It's kind of comforting to know i'm not the only one who's slightly afraid of what's to come. The main worry that everyone has is not being able to make any good friends in uni, which is a pretty frightening thought. To others i seem to get along well with everyone and make friends easily, but to me, well, i make acquaintances easily, but not exactly friends. Im fine with meeting lots of people and having more people to hang out with, but it is hard to find friends that you can truly talk and be honest to. Being cheerful and friendly doesn't mean im all that confident in making friends fast in uni; after all it's a very different environment and it really sucks that i have no one close going into biz with me=(
But anyway, after the mass-emoing we pretty much got back to the usual funny banter. And we came up with the idea of going back to volunteer work!! While we're meeting up regularly, it seems kind of meaningless when we just sit around and talk and other stuff. We're running out of places to explore already! So Syl suggested that why not we pick up volunteerism again and commit to a certain cause that we can work together with. I think that's a fab idea, plus i really miss the bod meetings days where we sit down and discuss serious plans. LEO Club 27th BOD on a mission again!! :D
And Marv just had to crack the joke about naming Janice's bakery in the future as "Janice's Buns". That little perv=.= And now the phrase is stuck in my mind!!!! ARGGHHHHH!!.
