CHU WEN'S FAREWELL=((

Friday night was the last time im gonna see chuwen for a long long time=( really really sucks to see my friends going overseas to study because i know i won't be able to see them for ages and im gonna miss them lots. First it was Sarah, then Serena, now is Chubx! I feel like Australia is robbing me of my friends=(

It was a teary event cos she started crying when she saw us and the cute Stitch cuddly we got her and the tears never stopped throughout. It's funny how you don't realise how important somebody is to you till he/she has to leave. I guess absence perhaps do make the heart fonder, and in this case, even leaving itself already causes a ton of heartache. Like i said, i hate farewells.

Im gonna miss her loud sneezes, her larger-than-life dun-give-a-shit attitude, her total frankness, her fave 4-letter word (it has never been used so affectionately), her utter craziness when we all get high, her unique sense of fashion and, well basically everything! I don't think i have another friend who dares to wear purple stockings with hot pink shoes=(

The 27th was 100% fabulous, now we're 90% fabulous.

Anyways, her farewell managed to bring 9 of us together (Claris couldn't make it cos of work) and it's great having nearly all of us together again. It isn't easy to meet up cos' we're all so busy with our own lives and friday was a great catching up session to know who's doing what. Time sure passes in a blur man. Shir can now legally chauffeur us(i wish), Marv has POP-ed, Minyu & Esther wins the award for being most devoted employees, Sylvia has finally come back from her vacations (though she's going overseas again =.= Im like super envious at how she can travel constantly. Oh and diving & marine conservation sounds really cool!), Janice is now unemployed and gonna be driving legally soon and Binks now wanna join the neighborhood police post. LOL.

Together we made the promise that we'll travel to Australia in May-June next year to visit Chu Wen and i really really really hope that it'll come true. =)

Plus, we made a whole load of outing plans for the coming weeks because I guess it suddenly struck us all how much we miss and love one another. In fact, the farewell made us all even more determined to stay bonded. Like what binks smsed me one emo day " as long as all of us still reminisce and remember those times we spent together, and have in our hearts some space for all of us"(translated), we'll all stay together. And he ended the convo with something touching: " i may be quiet with the whole bod but i do treasure everyone of you'. My sentiments exactly =)

LEO brought us all together, and im forever thankful i got to meet the craziest, funniest, most adventurous people that i grew to love and treasure. As time passes by and we each go our different paths, i truly hope that we'll stay in contact and at least remember the friendship we had. =)
