Headed back to AHS with Jas on Thu. It was a random inspiration to pop there...reflected on life and realised things are moving so fast..so many things are changing...uni, hall life etc.. n i really needed to go back to somewhere safe and familiar and the 1st place that popped into my mind was AHS. I guess AHS will always act as an anchor somewhere in my heart, reminding me of what i used to be:)

The trip back brought back a flood of memories- every venue seemed so familiar and it felt like home. The canteen, the classroom, the corridors, the parade ground etc etc...omg i miss the place so much! It feels so good to go back and bump into the people and things i used to see on a daily basis. The chicken rice stall auntie still remembers me and gosh, i really missed AHS chicken rice! It totally rocks(but inflation sia)! The lower sec classes don't just go by alphabets; they're called graciousness and other random values now. The VPs have changed but Baboon's still there (SIANS). The 4J board is still up there on the wall =) Really miss 4J days!! N of course, most importantly, the teachers there are so warm and friendly!!! Bumped into OPG, Teletubby Poh, Mrs Ong KC, Mrs NC Koh Mr Mok, Mr Yeow (young & old), Mr Tam and other familiar faces. It felt good to update them about what im doing now and there's just a huge sense of pride & accomplishment to see their looks of approval and happiness at what i've achieved=) Alot of them can't believe it's so fast that my batch is entering uni liao. Xiao Yeow even remembers my full name!! He taught me in sec 2!!! So touched T.T Best of all was mr mok though. he's such a nice old fatherly teacher! He saw me and was like 'i was just thinking of u! i was waiting for your teachers' day sms cos u never forget every yr!' Super duper touched to hear that from him. He still thinks of me!! He even took time to have lunch with me n jas=) had a nice chat catching up on life and he's forever so full of advice- don't overwork, don't join too many ccas, pay attention to studies, etc etc. so cute ^.^

Realised that AHS will always feel like home=)
