living for the moment now!! happy holidays people~~

MERRY XMAS!! (since there's supposedly 12 days of x'mas im not late!) It's been an awesome time ever since the exams ended on the 23rd, a day before xmas eve. Marks the end of Year 1 Sem 1. 1 sem down, 5 more to go! Alot has happened since then, which explains the lack of updates here; no time to come online! Broke my fb camping routine during the days of boredom/slackdom in hall during exams. lol.

The end of exams was marked by HAIRCUT (finally) and presents shopping with Amy, Hena and Su yu at JP. Intended to go for Chapter 2 but Russell offered a better price. Was glad i went there though; the service was good and 1st time getting shampooed by someone else. Totally shioks feeling, except i was trying so hard to suppress my grin (from the ticklish feeling + happiness from end of exam; couldn't stop smiling). Hair feels so much lighter n straighter now=) Went presents shopping and bought a present for him. Yupps, that fella asked me out for xmas eve after disappearing for 2 weeks :D The idiot texted me good luck halfway thru the marketing paper; totally distracted me for that moment when i saw the msg alert! Spent the night making him a Christmas card, figured that if im gonna give someone a present might as well go all the way~

Speaking of cards, thanks shou yu for the xmas card! it's lovely :D

Christmas Eve-- If my memory doesn't fail me, i guess it's the first time i spend this special holiday with a guy alone. He did remember after all :) It was a casual day out, doing random shopping along the Orchard strip which ended with an ice cream treat at B&J. Ice cream on Belgian waffle makes me melt! Didn't buy anything though, cos' it felt weird to try clothes and shoes on with a guy around. Anyways lotsa shopping trips await! It's nice walking along the streets, chatting about random stuff and bantering playfully. Finally a time to relax after the stressful period. Felt great to be among the normal human population again. lol. Moment to remember-- his epic expression of surprise when i passed him his present when we were parting. Guess it was unexpected to him and he smsed thereafter to say how touched he was. So adorable lol. Spent the night at Ah ma's house for a scrumptious xmas dinner--turkey, ham, pizza, satay and choc cake! Guess the best way to celebrate Christmas is always a huge feast with family :)

Christmas-- Slept in!! Had the best sleep i had in ages, which im very very very thankful for. Promised to spend the day with mum and dad, so we headed out to the spanking new NEX. Had a yummy thai lunch at Siam Kitchen. Had Green Curry chicken, seafood tom yam, chicken wings, some weird fish maw soup, and their special glass noodles. Thought the food was average, but their service was outstanding. My dad told the manager that the glass noodles could be improved on cos the noodles were clumped tgt, and the manager actually went to cook a new plate himself and served it up to us! Immediate rectification and improvement! I'd totally go back to patronize again just for their good service :) Spent the night at Ah ma's hse again; wanna spend as much time as i can with Aunt Monica. Even if i can't do anything to alleviate her pain, i still hope my presence is of comfort to her.

Boxing day-- It's Grandma's death anniversary so we had to go pray. Time sure passes by real fast, it's been 2 years since her passing but grandma's still dearly missed:) After that headed over to the expo metro sale for some shopping. Got some pretty good bargains there! Then travelled to city hall to meet weijie, calister and woon chuan. Our 1st meetup in ages! The very last time we met was even before study break for steamboat at canteen 11. Speaking of which, i really crave cheese naan! lols. Went to play a game of pool which we all sucked at. Unbelievably we couldn't complete even 1 game in half hour! Wad happened to us?!! Then headed for bowling and played 3 hilarious tummy-aching games. Woon Chuan being a sour puss was a great source of entertainment! LOL. Somehow bowling always becomes a barrel of laughter with these chaps. Then weijie had the sudden inspiration to play those arcade catch toys machine. That lucky dude actually caught an elmo plushie at 1st try omg. we were all gobsmacked! super duper lucky attempt! Ended off the night sitting on the steps outside marina square macs eating burgers and admiring the xmas lightings. Bliss~ It's a feeling of contentment with food in your tummy and good friends around you :D
