HAPPY NEW YEAR!! IT'S 2011!!

First time working on New Year Eve, and had a totally awesome time working with fellow hall commers at the marina bay countdown event. There were like 40+ of us from the different coms coming together to do canvassing. Plenty of jokes and laughs around, and getting suaned here and there and getting whacked lol. It was a pretty slack job, collecting ticket stubs and tagging ppl at the entrance, and we kept running off to eat snake =p Everytime David Tao appeared we sneak off to the side of the stage to watch the show=p he's freaking good singing live and im totally besotted mans. It's like watchin his free concert, and getting paid for it LOL. The fireworks at night were fabulous, all 8 min of it. The bunch of us just stood by the bay watching the fireworks in awe =) Brilliant display of fireworks; it was magical. Had a super high time grooving to the music on the floating platform after the event; it was like an outdoor club and everyone was joyous and high so the atmosphere rocked!! The company was great too, and i got to know more hall commers through the event and we just talked cock tgt. Guess the only peaceful moment was lying on the road by the bay, watching the stars and soaking in the atmosphere. Moment of serenity and contentment, knowing im surrounded with wonderful people who's gonna be spending my 2011 with me =) Guess the only thing that sucked was the traffic back-- couldn't get a cab at all! Had to sleep on benches @ SMU till simin's sis' cab detoured to pick us up. Reached home only at 5plus feeling totally shagged. But still, it was a fab fab countdown and the most memorable one!! :D
